I felt like a rockstar with my own private bathroom and a hot tub. It was so indulgent, like being in a spa. I couldn't believe how lucky I was to have a choice between a bath or a shower, so I could always relax the way I wanted. It was the perfect room for a luxury getaway!
Personally, I'm not really into hot tubs, so I didn't use it much.

The Granary was beautifully decorated with cozy furniture and charming decorations that made me feel right at home. The general areas were well-maintained and easily accessible for senior people like myself. The layout of the cottage was perfect for someone with limited mobility, and I appreciated how everything was conveniently situated on one level.
The only thing I would suggest for a better vacation for senior people is if the children working there could provide more assistance with carrying luggage.

The room at The Granary was absolutely amazing! It had a private bathroom with a hot tub and a bath or shower. It was like having my own personal spa retreat. I loved being able to relax and unwind in the hot tub after a long day of exploring the city. As someone who enjoys a bit of luxury on a budget, this room was a dream come true.
Personally, I'm not a big fan of hot tubs, but I can imagine that others would find this feature quite enjoyable.

Despite the cleanliness issue, the owners of the Granary - 16437 York were friendly and welcoming, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. the spacious grounds provided a peaceful retreat, away from the busy road nearby, and the cottage itself offered ample space for a group of five adults.
The Granary - 16437 York had a lack of attention to detail in terms of cleanliness, with dust and dirt found on the coffee table and an uncleaned carpet in the middle bedroom.
